9.2mm x 70m Climbing Rope

With constant innovation and a better understanding of our gear, a 9.2 rope is now standard fare for sending the gnar. Black Diamond's 9.2mm x 70 m - which apparently needs no fancy-schmancy name like the "Lightning Elite" or "Super NIAD" - serves up a very light rope that can still take a licking. BD incorporated a 1x1 weave construction to lengthen the rope's lifespan and bolster its abrasion-resistance, leading to a phenomenal weight-to-durability ratio. A certified single rope, the 9.2 also boasts a supple hand that only gets smoother as the rope ages. You'll find a triple-dash middle mark, as well, making it a wee bit easier to spot when pulling the rope for rappels.
